After Josh Norman and Odell Beckham scuffled on the field, Deion Sanders said that Odell Beckham was provoked by Panthers players with insults about his sexuality, and that before the game Normanhad threatened to end Beckham’s career. At whatever we’re calling Media Day tonight, Deion said he tried to reach out to Norman, the Panthers cornerback replied that he “didn’t like” what Deion had going on with Beckham, and Deion said he tried to broker a truce. Then Deion said something about trying to raise a dog. It seems like they squashed it.
This was probably the most genuinely engaging exchange of the evening, which is saying something.
